Dracula Legs

The name might sound like a terrible horror movie, but the music couldn’t be further apart. Dracula Legs stem from the mighty lakes of Canada, the Welsh mountains, the orange and plastic Essex and Wolverhampton. The clash of regions within the bands members would easily explain the bands clash of genres. Dracula Legs’ debut single Heartburn Destination, is wildly untamable even with its country styles. The London based quartet fuse these hillbilly styles with more rambunctious punk rock mentalities to make for exciting, rocking, heavy country or post-country whatever you’d want to call it.  Demo track Sand On The Beach, is a perfect mixture of surf-rock and punk styles, with a stronger, punk fuelled approach, similar to Radkey, rather than adopting Surfer Blood’s beach-pop style. Whilst Cold Licks is fit to burst with The Men’s belting, fast paced 50’s Rock n Roll style.

The band have really only just begun, only forming as their current line up since last May, but the bands short existence doesn’t seem to be halting them, as their debut single has already been released through Too Pure, famous for signing unknown bands and releasing their debut singles before bigger Indie labels, snap them up (Pulled Apart By Horses most famously).

  • What can I expect?

A fresh take on punk music with country styling that’s weirdly excellent.

  • When will they release new stuff?

Their debut single Heartburn Destination, was released on the 14th of April, so enjoy this for now.

  • Where can I find their music?

Soundcloud, bandcamp, but it’s all the same stuff, so which ever one you love the most.

  • Will I like them?

For fans of: The Men, Radkey, Dingus Khan
