I’d heard of Lust For Youth some time ago but I’ve never thought to actually check them out, and I’ve got to tell you, I’ve been missing out. The bands latest track Armida is engorging electronica, with thumping chorus riding on post-baptism tones (Crystal Castles) with coursing drums, bashed with the same strength from a satanic ritual. If you ever thought the gap between popular electronic acts Chvrches and Crystal Castles wouldn’t be filled, well you might just be wrong now.
Lust For Youth’s latest album, International, is out June 10th, via Sacred Bones.
