Roo Pane – Tiger Striped Sky

Charming singer-songwriter styles seem to run a bit dry when it comes to the most popular acts. Each seem to be over influenced by their management, as each song must be obviously optimistic and happy, just like a pop song. On Roo Pane’s Tiger Striped Sky, the gentle cushioning of a well seasoned string section, anchors the conventional acoustic plucks of a singular guitar, with harmonious background ooh’s guiding Tiger to the places it wants to go. Nothing feels unauthentic. Everything is pieced together beautifully with stunning effects, following the path of the heart warming acoustic tones that provide the ambience of  a Deptford Goth track.

Due for release on the 23rd June through CRC Music, ‘Tiger Striped Sky’ is taken from Roo’s debut album which will be released in autumn.
