The latest offering from Fat Cat Records’ demo program on soundcloud, comes in the form of Faultines from Field Division. Field Division is Evelyn Taylor and Nicholas Frampton, two singer/songwriters from Iowa based in Nashville, Tennessee, who make swooning, folk pop similar to the likes of Lucy Rose, Grace Joyner and Bon Iver. The blood of archaic Nashville runs thick, through the five minutes of Faultlines, with soothing acoustics partnering Evelyn’s gentle vocals on top of more minimalistic pop melodies.
