Next for Velvet’s week of the BBC Introducing stage, the second of the three headliners, Rae Morris (Saturday for Reading, Sunday for Leeds). Rae Morris is a singer songwriter from Blackpool who’s crystal clear vocals set aside the white space absorbed by here post pop productions, where bass beats as deep as space itself, drip in between starry eyed electronics rhythms. On her latest single Cold, with fellow electro pop artist, Fryars, Morris provides her most rhythmic track yet, with a crashing chorus, which ups the pace of her entire discography with trickling electronic tones pieced together by an explosion of kick drum bass beats.
