If The Inbetweeners was still going as a series, you could guarantee that The Bulletproof Bomb would have their tracks played on repeat. Their take on ‘lad rock’ with a slight influence of America’s blessed beach rock sees the Sutton based band, dipping into Libertines territory, although minus the stage man bickering. Early 00’s indie rock is an obvious influence to the Sutton band, as they would easily be identified with the likes of Maximo Park and The Fratellis and etc. You catch the drift, just make sure you get a front row view of the future of Brit rock yeah?
- Sounds like: Howler, The Libertines, Maximo Park
- Performing when: READING FRIDAY/LEEDS SATURDAY
- Extra Info: They’ve picked up attention from none other then Zane Lowe, so expect to hear them A LOT, on BBC in the future, especially the brilliant Suitcase.
