BBC Introducing… Broken Hands

You didn’t think I was going to leave these guys out did you? Broken Hands hail from Kent, fronted by the lovely Dale, who’s vocal shifts transmute excellently on the bands prog rock. The greatest factor to Broken Hands though is their accessibility. As far as metal goes, it’s never done much for me, I can appreciate it, but I’d rather stick with indie. But yet Broken Hands bridge the gap between indie and metal, having played with, massive metal legends, Black Sabbath, and all the way to beach rock Howler. Sonisphere, to Reading and Leeds. The band are sure to get everyone moving with tracks such as Levitations and Spectrum, both super charged, rock hits.

  • Sounds like: The Strokes, White Lies, Black Sabbath (ish)
  • Extra Info: The band are currently nearing the end of their current touring, so expect new tracks in the guys set.
