This September, the Transgressive Records team celebrate their tenth anniversary! So as a thank you to everyone, they’re releasing a new free download every day, either a rare or never before released track from current and past Transgressive artists.
Day 12, and today’s free track is an extremely rare release, from At The Drive-In with their track One Armed Scissor, remixed by The Field. The Field’s remix couldn’t be any further from the original tracks, heavy rock styling, as thumping electronic beats are set as the overtone for this minimalistic techno take on a classic.
Running over nine minutes, it’s not for the faint hearted (or people who don’t like techno), as the reoccurring beat might drive some crazy. For techno and house lovers though, it’s an absolute god send.
