10 Years of Transgressive Records (19-30)

This September, the Transgressive Records team celebrate their tenth anniversary! So as a thank you to everyone, they’re releasing a  new free download every day, either a rare or never before released track from current and past Transgressive artists.

Taken from an upcoming Cassette day release (80n7), today’s free track comes from Spring King, with the mellowed out Not Me, Not Now. If you’re looking for comparisons, listen to any beach punk, slacker rock group and you’ll find less aggression and closer relations to pop. Smooth acoustics set the undertone for the reverbed vocals and waa waa oohs, to carry this hazy, chilled out track to it’s unfortunate end at the 3:34 mark.

For the free download, head below, or go through soundcloud.
