This September, the Transgressive Records team celebrate their tenth anniversary! So as a thank you to everyone, they’re releasing a new free download every day, either a rare or never before released track from current and past Transgressive artists.
I might be late again, but there’s only a few left. Yesterday’s track came from Absentee, with My Dead Wife, taken from the mini LP, Donkey Stock. A glistening, acoustic ballad, with vocals similar to the style of The National and Black English (NO); the deep, husky vocals aren’t the only proud attribute in this five minute beauty. There’s also a sample from Grease’s You’re The One That I Want, I mean what else could you want, really?
