Is it a summer pop song, or an iPad advert track? Either way, Theo Altieri’s Little Fun has an instantly memorable quality to it.
Think of crystal clear skies, cutting to a shot of a group of 20 or so year olds, smiling for no reason and you’ve captured the mood of Little Fun. A combination of Devin’s post-rock ‘n’ roll, MONA’s easy swinging lyrics and Max and the Moons’ pop style, Little Fun balances it’s clash of rock and pop with a contemporary coalition. Between the background guitars cutting across broken riffs and structured chords, Altieri’s mixture of the 60’s rock and the 80’s electronica styles is instantly accessible to a hoard of music fans.
