Get into Thomston now before he becomes BBC 1’s next big thing.
Seriously though, Thomston and his latest track Expiry Date have BBC Radio 1 written all over it. A crystal clear vocal, minimal electronic beats with occasional drum tapping, with a chorus that provides a rise without changing the tempo of the track or a key change in vocals, it’s fair to say Expiry Date is near enough flawless for a modern day pop track. Think of an early, younger SOHN and you’ve hit the nail on the head. Expect Thomston’s name to be popping up all over the festival season this year and definitely in the next.
