Bad Sounds return has just got even more astounding, with their latest, funk fuelled track, Banger.
Last year Bad Sounds had a few heads turning their way with their debut single, Living Alone, catching funk grooves that were long lost to the 70’s. Now in 2015, Bad Sounds second release of the year Banger (following demo, I Feel), is making Bad Sounds rapidly become on of the hottest bands to watch out for.
Banger contains even more funk grooves, with synth-intervened bass hooks and electronica work that comes right off the bat of 2014’s big hitters, Jungle. In three and a half minutes, Bad Sounds transport you from the psychedelic, funk filled 70’s, to the era of Klaxons and Passion Pit in the mid 00’s, then finally to the indie-pop, psych-groove loaded magic that is indie music now, particularly, Banger.
