If the next generation of indie bands stick to the mentality that every track can be a complete storm, then we’ll all be in safe hands, especially with newcomers, Satires.
Hailing from Farnham (it’s closer to Reading than it is London), Satires style is impeccably early 90’s. A hint of the late 80’s provides Daze Of Youth with swirling guitars that sound closer to a vox on ecstasy, with a dip into early 00’s indie (think Bloc Party or Mystery Jets) that anchors Satires’ second generation of the 90’s vibe.
TheĀ tittering guitar hook is Satire’sĀ call for success however, as they’ve perfectly managed to land an earworm on their debut track. Even twenty seconds into the song, you’ll have Daze Of Youth in your mind all day, maybe all week.
