You may have heard their previous single All Night, but now Slum Sociable are ready to show that their possibly one of the freshest new acts in recent years. It’s as if Tom Vek, Favela and Akase met up and became trapped together creating the minimalistic, effortlessly sleek electronica that Slum Sociable are currently igniting.
With only two tracks out this year, Slum Sociable are fresh faces to the electronic scene, but just like Real Lies, this Australian duo let their work do the talking rather than spew out a tonne of sub-standard tracks.
On Paradigm, a sombre tone plays in unison with piano keys and rolling track-pad beats, uplifted momentarily with a well seasoned guise that portrays Slum’s lyrics as being something rather than a trance caught in a moment of deep thought.
