Brandyn Burnette – Down

If you saw our post about Molly Moore, then you may already know about Brandyn Burnette. But just in case, his track Down, should provide you with enough to fall in love.

A couple who produce music can surely only better one another right? You’d be correct in thinking so, as Down contains the thumping, post-dubstep vibes that Alex Clare’s Too Close did back in 2011 (2013 when it was popular though), alongside the effortlessly cool rhythm that Molly Moore captures so well.

More towards the area of ‘dub-pop’, Down is a slew of electronic constructions, cutting into vocals break like sheets of steel, which ricochet into completely different variations. While hollow and low in pitch to being, Burnette’s electronics turn into progressive chart ready beats, while gentle vocals, with exceptional pitch variations, provide the perfect counter point to the intense nature of Down.
