Jack Tatum’s indie pop group are coming back, and they’re more global than ever.
Don’t be confused however, this isn’t Bombay Bicycle Club back in 2014 that you’re hearing. Wild Nothing’s latest track Reichpop, is a global conglomeration of worldly rhythms and beats, all super charged with Tatum’s pop styling, lightly layered with joyous marimbas, math-rock styled bass, and indie guitar pops. It may sound as if Jack Steadman is about to burst in at any minute, but Wild Nothing’s silky smooth rhythms are easily distinguishable enough to separate the two groups.
Wild Nothing’s upcoming third LP, Life Of Pause, is out February 19th, through Bella Union.
