Remember Loom? Well let’s kick-start your memory with a bit of Hate.
If you’ve already heard of Loom, you know that front-man Tarik, is the brother of The Horrors front-man, Faris, and that Hate was actually released in June last year (but we missed it, so thank soundcloud). Now family relations and catching up aside, Hate is the other A side, to their AA sided release Hate/Bleed On Me, and it’s a whaling piece of punk rock, which could possibly reignite the attention that surrounded Loom back in 2013.
Mixing the shoegaze elements of The Horrors with their brand of post-punk-rock, Hate is a whirlwind that erupts violently into a class five hurricane, leaving you in a shocked state of awe and dismay, while violent guitars tear apart the world around you.
In less than three minutes, Loom deliver a devastating blow, which will surely have lasting affects for years to come.
