The second and final single off Perhapsy’s upcoming, sophomore album, Me Tie Dough-ty Walker; Morning Star pushes towards a bolder, more expansive sound from Perhapsy’s first single, All My Soul Swallowed.
Showing a completely different side to the lo-fi energy of ‘Soul Swallowed, Morning Star begins with a coy tone, with machine cogs turning until the guitar notes become harder and more apparent. Merging together with marching drum beats, to create what would have been a great opener for Me Tie Dough-ty Walker, Morning Star provides a slow rise into a glorious display of bewildered noise, which will lead comfortably onto an energetic closer, or a slow burning, closing number.
