Movie Brain are a duo made up of Jon and Kelvin from Tennessee’s Johnson City. The duo’s sound draws similarities to early Real Estate and Smith Westerns, with heavily glossed over guitar tones, as vocals are subdued in a blissful, shoegaze reverb, adding towards their already chilled out vibes.
On their debut EP, Movie Brain provide four tracks of harmonious, lightly fragranced joy, providing enough stimulation to make way for slow, relaxed dancing/vibing out. Equally so, Breeder EP would be the perfect backdrop for any 90’s inspired creations.
