Chaika – The Quietness

Forget about SXSW for a moment and get lost in The Quietness, Chaika’s metamorphic psych rock monster.

Groups who are immediately ready to aim for memorable behemoths of tracks; rather than subdued easy listening, are instantly more interesting (and most often, just better). Leeds group Chaika aim for a psych/punk rock flare that celebrates the intoxication of Hookworms, together with the ambiguous, high volume of Eagulls.
