The potential Oxen show in their latest track Luck is unbelievable.
A Swedish trio made up of Erik Hases (vocals and bass), Stefan Söderqvist (guitar) and Dennis Filatov (drums), Oxen have a nostalgic charm about them. Think somewhere between Oasis and The Vaccines.
The garish displays of indie rock within Luck, boast a confidence that seems to be fading within the genre. Thankfully it falls short of the arrogance of Oasis, as Luck boasts simply superb, production skills, with the combination of the three working together in such a seasoned fashion, even the Gallaghers would be left in complete awe (or at least a nod of acceptance).
Undoubtedly, Luck should turn Oxen into something huge. For a trio on their second track, there’s nothing but pure excitement surrounding them.
