Soft top convertibles, boomboxes bigger than your entire arm span, Runaway is the embodiment of what we commonly identify as the image of the 80’s. Bright strobes glaring onto black and white motifs, that appear more poignant than they actually are, Runaway is layered meticulously with alternating power chords, differing between Casio synthesisers and Kramer superstrats. The pace of the 80’s disco/electronica sound, comes together with their contemporary influences, without any thought being given, as Runaway could perfectly fit within both time periods.
