The Stockholm electro-pop artist radiates a spellbinding aura on her latest release, The Strangest Game.
Following on from her previous releases, Civil War and Nick Drake, The Strangest Game continues to play around with MIYNT’s electro-pop sound as a whole. While previously on Civil War, MIYNT’s sound bordered on the edge of chart-ready, The Strangest Game sends MIYNT towards a new direction.
A harmonious string section tied together with MIYNT’s vocals, calls for similarities to fellow Swedish electro-pop artist, Lykke Li. As her lyrics toy with the idea of love, “I want you, do you want me?” MIYNT transcends pure grace, balancing together the light intensity of her vocals together with her boldly spoken lyrics.
