The first taste from the Brighton groups debut LP is a reminder of their exciting blend of electronica and indie rock.
Nearly a year since Play Out (the first time we’ve mentioned Zola Blood) took over our soundcloud, Heartbeat continues to grow upon this indie-tronica blend, with an easy flowing mixture of americana fused indie rock, and tropical pop rhythms. The jaunty nature of the opening guitar, together with the blended mixture of contemporary dance and electronica beats, immediately rekindles the love felt on Zola Blood’s previous releases.
