The Parisian sextet continue to shine brightly, with their latest release Exile, taken from their MIDAS EP.
One of the many bands that made our end of year songs list in 2015, Yalta’s LOVE, demonstrated the courageous and caring nature that rises at times of fear and panic (following the Paris attacks of 2015).
Within Exile, Yalta Club demonstrate a restraint that curves around gently layered motifs, pieced together with softly strung guitars that glide into light luls of security. This restraint then immediately boils over into a charged up electro display, channeling the intricate nature of contemporary indie, from the likes of Adult Jazz and early Alt-J, as Exile explodes into a magnificent display of self-sufficient prowess, that presents itself bold and coherently, making for a truly wondrous experience.
