Alpines announce their second LP, along with raw new single, Heaven.
Following on from their debut LP Oasis, Another River is set to show Alpines’ continuation of minimal pop music, as lead single Heaven demonstrates beautifully.
An enchanting track that takes raw emotion to new levels, Pockson’s vulnerability is on full display as her soulful vocals tackle the honest nature of her lyrics. Nestled on top of Matthew’s inorganic beats, that transform from sharp kick drums to light synth pops, Heaven displays the power this Kingston duo find in creating minimalistic pop music, which creates a thousand thoughts while projecting nothing but graceful simplicity.
Another River is out on October 28th via Metropolis Music, available to pre-order in limited edition vinyl formats as well as digital downloads.
