Sub-tropical house to warm up the colder months ahead, Lacuna drops his follow-up to Sueño, with the inter-changing 2 step beats of Clyde.
The London producer’s latest offering is reminiscent of his fellow influences, Jamie XX, Four Tet and a slight nod to Ben Pearce. The difference between those three and Lacuna however, is the constant interchanging of genres, as afrobeat becomes tropical house, and then into deep house in a matter of snapping his fingers. The pace of Clyde flows excellently; as the 2-step percussion transmutes effortlessly into any of the genres that Lacuna guides his track towards, in this immediate statement track from the upcoming artist.
