The London group are back at it again, this time revealing Cameos and a headline show at London’s The Waiting Room.
There’s never a dull moment when Swimming Tapes are on. The subdued energy of breezy, summer mornings will always be tied to any dream/indie-pop group, but thankfully Cameos “alternative” take on indie pop, is as exciting as the group’s previous releases, Tides and Set The Fire.
The rolling bass opener feels ready to instigate moody, post-punk inspired indie rather than Swimming Tapes bright-eyed pop, which instantly makes Cameos all the more endearing to listen to repeatedly.
The group’s Souvenirs EP is out this Friday via Hand In Hive, and tickets for their show at The Waiting Room are available below.
