If Avalanche Party’s latest, I’m So Wet, doesn’t have the same effect on you, then you need to turn your speakers up.
As Yorkshire as the Moors can be, Avalanche Party’s sound dwarfs the enormity of the UK’s largest county. A pure load of gritty, garage, punk rock, I’m So Wet is a ferocious beast, slowly rising through that swamp Alex Turner talked about at the Brits, with a devastatingly brilliant effect.
Wailing guitars are hacked at with ferocity, as a chorus that Royal Blood wish they could create, bursts the ear drums of everyone listening, as hordes of riffs and greasy bass chords come together in what undoubtedly will be Avalanche Party’s breakthrough release.
