The Sydney based rockers begin to move forward from their acclaimed third LP, Synthia, with their first stand alone release of 2017, The Others.
The Jezabels’ sense of pessimistic optimism has always shown such conflict throughout the near decade of material they’ve released. Hayley’s powerful vocals delivering trembling lyrics, with Nick and Samuel’s drumming and guitar work uplifting deep rooted sorrow disguised as monumental euphoria, while Heather’s key work has always had the magical switch to channel The Jezabels from being purely pensive idols to the relatable dreamers that fans know and love.
The Others continues to display The Jezabels as these relatable, taunted dreamers, penning existentialism crisis, wrapped up in low, self-values to the song, as Hayley provides another effortless performance, guiding the way for Nick, Samuel and Heather to truly deliver the magic that The Jezabels so stunningly continue on with.
Its Heather on keyboards not Hayley
