Plaza – Speak It

The Hartlepool lads are back following their debut EP released back in April, now with the big-hitting Speak It.

If you’re new to Plaza then this month is the perfect time to become acquainted with them. Following support slots touring with Gengahr, JAWS and Dream Wife just to name drop a little, the four-piece are setting out on five-date tour across the UK. Speak It, released through Beyond The Wall, shows Plaza on a more mellow note than usual, which even then would hardly be classified as being mellow. With choppy guitars throw into brutal drumming, Speak It comes fully charged with grunge running through its veins, as the message of not being concerned what others think about you comes through loud and clear. A steady balance between atmospheric breaks and soaring guitars makes Speak It, a prime example of how interchangeable Plaza can be with indie rock without failing to deliver.
