Now carrying on the legacy of Her in Carpentier’s memory, Victor Solf continues Her’s enchanting display of R’n’B, pop and jazz, although on We Choose, the energy as a whole is multiplied to new levels, as uplifting lyrics seek to energise and motivate even with the tracks solemn tone. Used as their opening song for their live performances over the past year and a half, We Choose beautifully celebrates the artistry that Carpentier provided Her, stating that his influence on Her will still prevail, especially now that Solf is emboldened with the desire to continue on with Her in Carpentier’s memory.
