Peluché – Keep Making Me Happy

A love for jamming sessions has seen London three-piece Peluché create some truly inspiring work, most recently with Keep Making Me Happy.

Labelling their intrepid jamming style genre as ‘Trip Jam’, Keep Making Me Happy is a cohesion of incoherent genres that all jam together in truly artistic fashion. Think Hinds on Valium, rubbing shoulders with Grimes while Warpaint and Savages battle it out, there’s a whole collection of inspirations that can be pulled out of some of the best female artists/groups around that Peluché’s music would easily blend into. Keep Making Me Happy is littered with the notion of cosmopolitan living, as the calm sophistication of Latin music beautifully plays throughout, accompanied by a grooving, funk influenced bass hook and psychedelic stylings which mark Keep Making Me Happy as one of the most intriguing tracks of the year so far.
