With their debut EP out next week, Hamilton’s Ellevator release the invigorating energy of Voices.
Recently signing to label Arts & Crafts, Ellevator are launching full steam ahead with a flurry of pop-rock delights. If you’re a fan of The Jezabels earliest EP’s and Arcade Fire’s quirky nature then Voices will be delivering the goods. A consistent hounding of drums and slinky bass hooks provide a cool edge to Voices’ verses; as guitar riffs made for dancing and (light) head-banging coincide with the agile melodies of frontwoman Nabi Sue Bersche. With an impactful set of lyrics throughout Voices, Ellevator create joyous pop music that’s as emotionally rich as it is bountiful in skilful artistry.
