Colouring – Thin Air

Another emotive moment from the London four piece, following on from the successive Time.

After hearing the 10 or so seconds where Colouring’ s Time was featured on the last episode of Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, their big break was apparently more of a pat on the back it seemed, but not something to snuff your nose at.

With Time’s upbeat nature masking a more sombre narrative; Thin Air reveals the other side of Colouring’s now familiar style, with a commanding ballad that’s equally awe-inspiring and emotionally dangerous.

The notion of drifting apart from someone even when life appears to be 100% fine smoothers Thin Air with an energy that is uncomfortable to be made a part of yet pleads to be welcomed in with such intensity that it’s difficult to resist it’s brooding charm.
