Utah four piece The Dream Tapes, spur up a horde of summery vibes on their most recent single Dead Ends, taken from their upcoming sophomore LP.
Hailing from Ogden specifically, the collective made up of Jackson Reed, Davis Bitton, Jonathan Mecham and Zachary Wilkening blend together early notions of psychedelic rock, with more contemporary, indie rock/beach pop. Dead Ends’ name might suggest a need to backtrack and look elsewhere, but the joyous series of breezy guitars and “Jam In The Van” style of production is more than enough to entice a peek into their upcoming, Dead Ends and All My Friends LP (which is available to stream in full below, just FYI).
