Released a couple weeks back, the Teeside group are setting themselves up to become the next major indie success story.
It may seem somewhat premature to hail Llovers as the next successful indie group to follow The Amazons or Sundara Karma, however, Go Get Her, Go Getter, leaves little room for any other comment to be made.
Jumping straight into the deep end with a thumping guitar married synth hook, Go Get Her’ rockets off into a maelstrom of indie-pop goodness, gentle cooing in the opening verse, before kicking off a momentous chorus that echoes the likes of Sundara Karma’s emphatic Loveblood. The North East continues to boast impressive talents and Llovers are simply storming ahead to an exciting future.
