A four piece from East London, Talk Slow are enforcers of glitter pop and full stops, with their most recent track Sweet. following up previous tracks undone. and money.(.)

For such a young band (having only started at the beginning of 2018) it’s encouraging to see that this four piece are already serious enough to focus on branding and crafting serious pop music. Sweet. travels back to very early Armors, with a not so obvious nudge towards The 1975 also, utilising charm and vulnerability instead of overbearing whines that attempt to be sensual.

In contrast to undone. and money., Sweet. is taking steps away from merely sounding like Talk Slow’s influencers and moving towards displaying their own identity. With their style of soft, subdued pop, Sweet. is a major step in the right direction for Talk Slow.
