The German duo are back, following a string of singles last year, now moving onto the next phase of Lea Porcelain with ‘I Am OK’.
A calming return to the world of Julien Bracht and Markus Nikolaus, the duo have momentarily set aside the intense post-punk style of their debut, now embracing a lighter, folk style on ‘I Am OK’. However, light as Lea Porcelain may try and be, the intense nature of their work still pours through, although this time, through sun drenched acoustics and the drawn out embraces of Julien’s vocals. Light hearted in style, changing the euphoric futurism of their past, to a much more uplifting in the moment type of vibe, ‘I Am OK’ feels like the first drop of water after a long days work, welcoming you to a calmer world that right now is graciously welcomed.
