Manchester’s White Hotel residents MONK share an indulgent case of electro fuelled, post-punk on their newest single, ‘It’s You’.
Taken from their upcoming EP, “We’ve Put Something In The Water”, the Ramber Records signees push their electro-rock sound towards becoming a truly immersive experience on ‘It’s You’, encapsulating the close community of White Hotel. Utilising an endless procession of growling reverb, both chaotic and cryptic when backed by the video for ‘It’s You’, MONK inject a erratic sense of paranoia from a single man dancing while wearing a rabbit head. Backed by the relentless waves of rolling riffs that sound like monstrous whines, ‘It’s You’, is a paralyzing and terrifying experience, both visually and auditory, that showcases Manchester’s experimental talent tremendously.
