Dumlords – Television

New Haven’s Dumlords are breaking the mundanity of the current world, casting an eye on the destructive power of ‘Television’.

It’s a quick blast of noise-filled rock, the likes that DZ Deathrays were pushing on ‘The Mess Up’, topped up with a little Cali-surf and New York Punk on ‘Television; as Dumlords races his way through drug adverts, news reports and channel surfing. With a captivating look of mundanity plastered throughout Dumlords face on ‘Television’, and his guitar ripping out punk-rock riffs like it’s nothing big, the Connecticut artist shares the reality of filling space with noise purely for the sake of it. If the idea of this sounds familiar or the infographic of “Another mother lost her son. Change the channel, switch it up”, catches your eye, Dumlords will undoubtedly have your undivided attention.
