Taken from her EP of the same name, released back in January, London artist Taura divulges in the seven deadly sins on the striking new visuals for ‘Lucky Girls’.
Having written, performed and produced every inch of her work to date, it comes as no surprise that for her debut video, Taura would only trust an Oscar award-winning filmmaker to work with her. The partnership of Taura and ‘Moon’ works beautifully as ‘Lucky Girls’ sombre tones (rooted in a relationship that’s “a year too soon”) flow intrinsically with ‘Moon’s depiction of the SDS, as the London artist reiterates her mixed feelings over a backdrop of wrath, greed and lust, wrapped up in the sultry precision of Taura’s impressive vocals and slick ’00s R’n’B styling.
