Waiting For Smith – Lines of Love

London artist Waiting For Smith shares a message of hope and perseverance on his latest track ‘Lines of Love’.

At the beginning of the COVID lockdowns, which were happening around the world back in March, everyone was reaching out with messages of hope and prosperity, and frankly, after the second week, those messages were just background noise. 2020s every week shall be worse theme has run dry quickly, yet the messages of hope haven’t.

Harry Lloyd’s work on ‘Lines of Love’ is a gentle nudge and a soft reminder, that help is there when needed and that you don’t have to be tuned into the chaos 24/7. The accompanying video is a beautiful hand-drawn animation by Yara van Ee that mirrors the unburdened flow of the guitar work on ‘Lines of Love’. With the delicacy of Henry Jamison and the repeatable appeal of Kodaline, Waiting For Smith’s latest effort will feel like you’ve returned home after each new listen.
