The calming seriousness of Thrillhouse’s music has always been their biggest draw, and that continues strongly with ‘Flawed Design’. Discussing the aspiration of perfectionism while equally acknowledging it as an unwinnable fight, Sam Strawberry describes ‘Flawed Design as: “a song about the constant search for the perfect life, perfect job, body etc when of course, it doesn’t really exist and that perhaps we should be ok with that. It’s a little rich coming from me as I’m still looking for all those things!”.
