Emerging Isle of Wight four-piece Coach Party share their new single and video, ‘Everybody Hates Me’.

The second track to be taken from their upcoming “After Party” EP, following ‘Can’t Talk, Won’t’; ‘Everybody Hates Me’ is the melodramatics of adolescence life personified in musical form. Vocalist Jess Eastwood says:
“‘Everybody Hates Me’ isn’t a metaphor for anything; it’s literally about those times when you convince yourself that everyone, including your best friends, don’t actually like you, and your self-confidence is so low that you don’t even blame them. Everyone feels that way from time to time, but you gotta remember that sometimes your irrational self is going to take over. And when it does, try to remember that you’re awesome, and your friends really are your friends.”
With a steady stream of choppy guitar riffs, dipping between pop-punk and indie-rock, the dramatics of Coach Party’s lyrics come across as joyous and easy-going, fully capturing the everyday emotional rollercoaster that is navigating your 20’s.
Coach Party’s “After Party” EP is out on April 20th through Chess Club Records.
