Galway four-piece Slyrydes return with their new single ‘Boys in the Deb Suit’ and news about their debut LP.
Despite the extreme difficulty that COVID has placed on bands being able to actually be a band, Slyrydes respite came from recording their debut “What Happens If You Get Happy??” in September last year. ‘Boys in the Deb Suit’ is one of the LP’s twelve tracks, continuing Slyrydes discussion on mental health and deconstructing the stigma around the subject through abrasive punk rock. The Galway groups latest is sonically closer to indie-rock than their previous releases, although the group retain their punk-sound with their razor-sharp lyrics, producing yet another brutally open and grand display of punk-rock.
