The Berlin duo deliver a hit of melancholy with ‘Just A Dream’, taken from their upcoming sophomore album.
Following their previous grunge fuelled release, ‘Ohio’, Julian and Markus descend into the realm of late-night melancholy on ‘Just A Dream’. While Lea Porcelain’s skill for building up thunderous crescendos remains on their latest work, it’s the outpouring of emotion from Markus’s vocals that stand out as the star this time. Breaking down their post-punk walls with this relatively unheard of vulnerability, ‘Just A Dream’ is easily the duo’s best work to date.
“Choirs To Heaven” is out May 21st.
