The music video for ‘Absence’ continues on with the Northern UK theme, as overcast skies cast a stark contrast to Shelter Boy’s jangly guitar hooks. Caught somewhere between The Drum’s at their earliest, with a splash of dreary post-punk vocals similar to Lust For Youth’s Hannes Norrvide, it’s a delightfully grey take on indie pop that’s made to brighten up even the darkest of days.
