Rising L.A. artist Wallice shares the title from her upcoming EP, ‘Off The Rails’.

Following on from the success of her previous single, ‘Hey Michael’, Wallice continues to shine with her brand of alt-pop, delivering The Sims realness on ‘Off The Rails’ video. Filled with enough reverb to match New York duo Sleigh Bells, Wallace’s take on garage-rock/noise pop is quintessentially L.A. yet reaches out far beyond the confines of the West Coast. Together with her previous releases, ‘Off The Rails’ marks Wallice as one of the brightest new names in the lo-fi pop movement globally.
Speaking about her new single, Wallice explains: “Off the Rails’ is about feeling like you don’t have any control over your life and that the world is against you – and that you’re the only one that feels that way. Sometimes there are periods in your life when it’s easy to think your life is falling apart, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it or fix it. I think sometimes it’s okay to sit in that self-pity, but also at the same time you have the power to control it and take responsibility for your actions, at least to an extent. Sometimes there are just rough patches, and you have to do your best to get out of them, roll with the punches, and try not to be a shitty person.”
Wallice’s “Off The Rails” EP is due June 4th.
